Named Company of the Year at the 2012 American Business Awards
I am happy to announce that Staff Management | SMX received the Gold Stevie Award in the Company of the Year – Business Services category in the 10th Annual American Business Awards. In addition to the company award, it was announced that Joan Davison, President & COO at Staff Management | SMX, was the recipient of the Gold Stevie Award in the Executive of the Year – Business Services category.
Staff Management | SMX also received a Bronze Stevie in the Customer Service Team of the Year category, recognizing the dedicated and talented team that hired more than 16,000 seasonal associates in a nine week period to support a leading online retailer’s busy season.
The awards event was held June 18 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. I joined Tom Sheldon, Vice President of Operations, to accept the awards on behalf of Staff Management | SMX at the ceremony.
Upon hearing the good news, Joan Davison stated:
“It is a pleasure to be included in this highly regarded group of executives and companies. We would like to thank the American Business Awards for the continued recognition of our company and employees, as well as congratulate our fellow nominees in the Company of the Year, Executive of the Year and Customer Service Department of the Year categories. Being named best company of the year, as well as executive of the year, is truly a reflection of the dynamic and accomplished team that runs our organization, as well as our dedicated clients who we are honored to partner with globally.”
