Vendor Management Approach

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) we do not compete with our vendors.  This preserves the integrity of our vendor partnerships and allows our vendors to put forth their best recruitment efforts knowing that strong performances will be recognized and rewarded with improved ranking and additional volume.  Staff Management | SMX’s Global Vendor Management Team is responsible for ensuring that Staff Management | SMX establishes and maintains effective partnerships with our vendors around the globe.

Communication Drives Effective Partnerships

Effective partnerships are fostered through regular communication and performance evaluations but also by striving to understand how the program could work better for our vendors.   We hold regular meetings as well as formal Supplier Summits for vendors within our client networks to keep those vendors abreast of developments within the client environment, business forecasting and other information necessary to be successful.  We survey our vendor network to understand their experience working with Staff Management | SMX, our VMS technology, and how we can improve their overall experience.

Fact Based Decision Making

Our vendors have access to robust reports including open and closed requisitions, fill rate, time to fill, missing timecards, invoice status and other data that allows them to manage their business for improved profitability. This reporting allows Staff Management | SMX and our vendors to make fact based decisions.  Our reporting allows us to determine vendor performance and gives us a window into understanding vendor commitment and participation.  We can then develop vendor specific plans for improved performance and satisfaction and can reward vendors with good performance with improved tiering status.
