Ensuring the health and safety of our associates is a strategic priority for both Staff Management | SMX and our clients.Staff Management | SMX is committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and temporary associates as well as maintaining safe work practices for our clients. We will develop a detailed safety program to compliment and support your program and to promote safety awareness throughout the facility. Our safety program will be managed by our site manager or site safety manager depending on program configuration. Additionally, safety is part of every service team member’s daily frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and therefore the safety program is championed by the entire service team.As part of the service team’s standard operating procedures, safety audits will be conducted on the floor on a shift-by-shift basis to ensure that safe work habits are exhibited daily and safety related activities will be documented. Components of the program will include: safety suggestions process, regular safety meetings, safety database tracking, safety signage, safety newsletter, weekly safety topics and safety awareness programs such as Safety Bingo, Safety Question of the Week and Safety Talks. Safety Training Safety Training is conducted during new hire orientation. Orientation materials are communicated via simulations, videos, presentation and a client customized orientation manual called WorkFacts. Safety Training Includes:
