Staff Management | SMX has a reputation for exceptional client relationships and retention rates. We believe that at least fifty percent of our success in that area can be attributed to selecting the right clients on the right terms. We have developed formalized processes around client acquisition and retention, called Clients for Life, that allows us to ensure that we commit our resources towards relationships with organizations that will be mutually beneficial. We have developed a lot of discipline in our organization for sticking with our right clients right terms criteria and will not partner with a client if they do not meet those terms. 

One might imagine that this is a common practice within the staffing industry, and it is not. It is very common for a staffing provider to commit to pricing and service level agreements without doing the due diligence necessary to understand what resources it will take to be successful, benchmark current performance metrics or to understand if the account will be financially sustainable. This practice can lead to significant client dissatisfaction with the staffing program, lack of user adoption and an erosion of proposed program value. 

Staff Management | SMX believes that one must understand a prospective client’s current state in order to be able to design and deliver the right solution for their needs. Our due diligence and needs assessment process allows us to determine how a prospective client lines up against our right clients right terms criteria. In order to ensure the success of a new partnership, it is critical that the client actively participate in the due diligence process to ensure that Staff Management | SMX has a full understanding of their requirements.

Define & Prioritize Expectations
A key activity in our Clients for Life Program is our Transition Meeting process. We will conduct a Transition Meeting prior to program implementation activities. The purpose of the meeting is to communicate the short and long-term expectations of each party and to prioritize those expectations so that the program will be an assured success. Staff Management | SMX has found that this type of meeting greatly increases the likelihood of a smooth transition and client satisfaction. Therefore, we believe that it is critical to each new client’s short and long-term program success that they actively participation in the expectations definition process.
