Staff Management | SMX Named Best Overall Company of the Year at the 8th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide. More than 300 nominees and their guests attended the awards dinner at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel November 11, 2011. The event benefited Camfed, which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change. Other winners included the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Allstate, Xerox, Avon and Accenture.

Finalists in the competition were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of six final judging committees selected Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging. More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process this year.
