Alex Patel – Executive Director, Recruitment & Placement Solutions
Alex has 10 years of experience in the staffing industry with an emphasis on semiskilled to highly skilled recruitment. Since joining Staff Management | SMX in June of 2007, she has supported a variety of recruitment functions, including the development of a centralized recruitment team aimed specifically at supporting semiskilled to highly skilled contract, temp-to-hire and direct hire placements. In her role, Alex provides operational leadership to support the development of strategic recruitment solutions that ensure acquisition of the best talent.
In 2013, Alex earned her Certified Contingent Workforce Professional accreditation. She is a 2012 TrueBlue Leadership Award recipient and a two-time Staff Management | SMX Circle of Excellence winner in the categories of Support Center MVP (2012) and Cornerstone Award for Talent (2015). In her spare time, Alex enjoys golfing, skiing and running.
Kathleen Davis – Executive Director, Recruitment & Placement Solutions
Kathleen is a seasoned sales and operations executive with over 20 years of experience in recruiting arenas ranging from government, engineering, IT and manufacturing to executive, financial and legal. In her role, Kathleen will focus on strategically partnering with each client to best meet their needs. She will provide leadership to identify service opportunities, improve process efficiency and leverage best practices using out-of-the-box recruiting techniques to obtain top candidates. Kathleen is driven by a desire to provide our clients with the best service and candidates possible.
In addition to her status as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a former member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Kathleen’s strong emphasis on the development of large accounts and on strategic partnerships will help take RPS to the next level. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys hiking, playing backgammon, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Sara Anderson – Managing Director, High Skill Recruitment
Sara has 20+ years of experience in operations management, recruiting, employee relations and program development. She joined Staff Management | SMX in 2014 as an Operations Manager but eventually transitioned into her current role with the RPS team in 2015. Keys to her career success include seasoned skills like problem solving, team building, financial management and long-term relationship building. Sara has used her experience to pioneer a recruitment strategy for the RPS High Skill team that allows us to fill our clients’ specialized positions.
In 2015, Sara received the Staff Management | SMX Circle of Excellence Cornerstone Award for Talent in recognition of her work in RPS. She enjoys books, movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Marcie Carleton – Lead High Skill Recruiter
Marcie joined Staff Management | SMX in 2014 with 15+ years of experience in health care recruiting. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis, she began her career in the health care industry and quickly worked her way up from an HR Assistant to a Corporate Healthcare Recruiter. Having proved herself as a strong team leader and recruiter in the fields of health care, finance, IT and human resources, Marcie was promoted to Lead Recruiter of the RPS High Skill team in 2016.
Marcie received a Team Performance Award for People Excellence from Indiana University Health in 2007 and an Excellent Recruitment Service Award from Columbus Regional Health in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.
Asya Domingo – Direct Placement Recruiter
Asya joined the Staff Management | SMX family in 2013 as part of the corporate recruiting team and immediately fell in love with the profession. During her 3+ years of recruiting, she has gained experience filling positions in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, call center operation, corporate management and staffing. As a Social Science graduate from Marquette University, Asya is fascinated with building relationships as well as making connections between candidates and hiring managers. She utilizes these interpersonal skills alongside specialized sourcing tactics to pinpoint the perfect candidates for her clients. Outside of work, Asya can be found downfield as a wide receiver on her flag football team.
Kathy Dubar – High Skill Recruiter
Kathy is a dedicated professional recruiter with more than 15 years of HR and recruiting experience in the health care, real estate, automotive and food industries. She has a proven track record of providing her customers with superior support in the form of client-specific recruitment plans, employee management and employee retention. Kathy utilizes her HR background by applying her interpersonal skills to the task of helping candidates feel comfortable throughout the interview process, which helps ensure they are placed in the best position.
In her previous role, Kathy received the Key Account Manager of the Year award, honoring her as the company’s top-performing KAM of 2010. In 2015, she received the RPS Work Hard, Be Kind award for demonstrating persistence and perseverance while remaining kind. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading, spending time with her family and gardening, as well as feeding and caring for a variety of wild birds in her backyard.
Taylor LaCourse – Direct Placement Recruiter
Taylor joined the Staff Management | SMX team in early 2014. She gained industry experience as well as specialized knowledge of our centralized services and MSP departments before settling into her recruiter role with RPS in 2016. Taylor was born and raised in North Texas (Go Rangers!) and booked it to the Windy City after graduating from Texas Tech University as a theater major. She loves making honest connections with hiring managers and candidates alike, as well as finding them their perfect fit. When she’s not sourcing top talent, you can find Taylor singing songs across Chicago wherever they’ll let her perform.
Amy Majors – High Skill Recruiter
Amy is a seasoned High Skill recruiter and has spent over 15 years working in the staffing, human resources, marketing and health care industries. Her specialized experience ranges from high-volume recruiting to the practice of sourcing highly skilled management-level positions. With customer service as her first priority, Amy’s success has been attributed to surpassing client expectations. She understands that businesses need to have the right staff in place in order to succeed.
Outside of work, Amy is an avid tennis enthusiast who enjoys volunteering within her community as well as attending exhibitions of performance art and gardening.
