2012 Staffing Industry Analysts Executive Forum

Staff Management | SMX is pleased to be a part of the 2012 Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) Executive Forum held March 13-16, 2012 at the Red Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The SIA Executive Forum is the most prominent annual meeting for CEOs, owners, and senior level executives from all sectors and segments of the staffing industry. The Executive Forum provides access to the top industry thinkers, leaders, and innovators as well as a focus on the staffing industry's strategic issues, developing trends, future opportunities, and current challenges.

Joan Davison is featured on a Recruiting and Retention panel, Recruiting Models: What’s Best For You?, held Wednesday March 14th alongside moderator Diana Gabriel, VP, Strategic Solutions, Staffing Industry Analysts and fellow panelist Ross Fernandes, CEO, Q Analysts LLC. Recruiting Models: What's Best For You? focuses on the ways the process of procuring contingent labor has evolved over the years and how staffing companies have adapted their recruiting models to ensure success in finding the right talent for their clients. The traditional recruiting model has changed from centralized recruiting centers to the utilization of offshore recruiters and virtual recruiting teams. This session will speak to why changes to the traditional recruiting process was necessary; what considerations went in to create an effective recruiting model; the challenges associated; and the impact in both identifying and retaining talent.

Cindy Parish will bring her extensive product development knowledge and IT background to the panel Building and Keeping Your IT IQ: Recruiting CIOs, CTOs & Tech Gurus held Friday, March 16th along with moderator Adrianne Nelson, Director, Global Services, Staffing Industry Analysts and fellow panelist Lynn Dunn, Management Consultant, Lynn Dunn Consulting. This panel will explore how to find and keep technology leaders, from CIOs and CTOs to IT product managers, to spearhead staffing technology solutions.The panel will also discuss how to know when the time is right to add a tech guru to your company. Questions featured in the panel include: Does your recruiting plan match your technology goals and is it part of your overall growth strategy? When do you need to do project-specific recruiting and get a temporary technology resource, be it a CIO or product manager?
